met up with aaron, yvonne, zhenjun, yaxin, hayati, nathasha and jocelyn. took train to raffles mrt station.lots of policemen walking around.
turned out it was the national day parade preview or something.
and we saw the ARMY TANKS and CIVIL DEFENCE showing off their vehicles.
IT WAS SO COOL !
so many tourists stopped and point point point.
entered VCH. saw RGS and some of the japanese band peeps getting ready. RI was no where in sight yet.
bought the booklet for 50 cents. cute. (:
concert starts. RI's band seems to have reduced. sec 2s and 3s only, maybe. but the music is still THERE. intonation was fab. (:
RGSSB next. screams. /grins
they have an Eb clarinet player!! /hops around
the music by RGSSB was so heartwarming. not very in tune but woah. their dynamics, everything can cover up for it.
i FEEL the GOLD WITH HONOURS in this 2 bands. ((:
jap band next. Miyazaki Dream Band. slightly disappointed. their intonation, sound, balance, dynamics, everything was totally VERY VERY GOOD. PERFECT, i can say.
but i couldnt feel the music.
too technical i guess. dunno.
their Eb clarinet was probably in the 2nd row or something. and that Eb clarinet player can hit VERY HIGH and VERY in tune. but so what. i cant feel the music.
not even when the band did very very good crescendos or anything.
combined band. RI, RGS and jap band. they played some set piece from japan's sort of SYF. plus Its A Small World.

rushed to the toilet. and i was FIRST. (((:
went to the museum out of fun with zhenjun, jocelyn, nathasha and yaxin. had so much fun man. regent pupils only have to pay 2 bucks. wow. (:
ate dinner at Suki Sushi with dad, cheryl, yaxin and zhenjun. and dad kept bombarding dear yaxin and zhenjun with questions. LOL.
caught 'Red Candy' with zhenjun at causeway point. at 11:50pm. midnight ghost shows. lol. poor yaxin, wensheng and hayati couldnt come. ):

band. drills. sec 1 + 3 had their sizing. so it was like. WOAH. LONG LINE.
but sec 1s' drills DID improve today. all stoned when they are suppose to 'stone' . erm. YAY.
moved to the AVA room today for combine. freaking cold. and to think we always complain how warm it is in the music room.

woodwinds had to clear the set up the tables and chairs for AVA room. and boy. we did it quite fast. TEAMWORK. haha. ((:
dined with yuting while zhenjun, suhaila and dor were having their meeting. then they were told off by some cleaner and had to move places cause they werent EATING anything. lol.

i'm feeling ha-ppaaayyy. ((:PE was so fun. treasure hunt with compass. sulaiman was so ON! :D
teacher's day audition didnt went too well for sec 3 band mates. mainly cause the ava room stage is so small and almost everyone had to stand and the last row couldnt see me conducting.
but WE GOT IN. =DDD
band was GOOD. mr lim's back. and he doesnt seem like he's in a bad mood. /grins
mr lim was quite in a state of shock i think.
ran through merry widow. i'm so proud of matthew. he understood when i told him to 'squeeze' the higher notes even though i really dont know what i'm talking about myself.
starlight express was NOT BAD for the first time. me and kexin were like grinning to each other full time. ;D
catherine's and charles's solo.
mr lim told them to look at each other while playing cause it was a LOVE song. /bursts out laughing

i like to move it, move it -felt super lazy today.
dearest nicholas is giving me a kitten with a grey streak down its head on 2nd January 2006 to celebrate our '10 YEARS OF BEST-FRIENDSHIP DAY'. ((:

maths was nothing but drawing and more drawing. x_x
o man. i almost died with 3 periods of chemistry. thank goodness ms yeo booked the lab for practical.
did practical with baohui. and the table aligned together with us was siti and haozhi's.
gosh.
haozhi wasted all the chemicals by mixing them together.
and me, siti and baohui wouldnt stop laughing.
so later we had to chiong the whole thing.
sadly, the universal indicators were used up by haozhi already. LOL.
the flute section had sectionals over at my house. dororin and zhenjun came.
wanted to play maple while they were having their sectionals. but server's patching. ):
in the end, made toast with chocolate/butter/sugar for everyone in the house. /grins
went for violin. zhenjun waited for me. what a sweet fren. (:
violin was so rawkin. teacher seems worse after his operation. aww. but he was in a cheerful mood. ((:
thought i forgot my scales books. till violin class ended. and i found it right at the back behind all the other books. o my. ):
ate dinner with zhenjun and yuting. was talking about so much stuff. and we decided we would plan and TRY to follow a schedule for everyday life to see how its like. /grins

then. there was like this collabaration thing with drama club.
band plays, drama acts.
band played THE FREEDOM ROAD. even had a bit a 'shirim' that piece parts inside. ha.
and the drama acted out the whole thing. which was TOTALLY COOL.
especially one part where the 'gangsters' or 'ah bengs' came out. the one in front was like some sec 3 guy wearing a black overcoat jacket like those hongkong tv series.
AWESOME.
that guy looked HOT.

but i did it.
