oh cool. there's this new photostudio programme on my computer which came with the scanner and stuff. radical. shall try it out after the hongkong trip. maybe i'll prepare for my next blogskin layout. inspiration, please come to me. (:court shoes hurt. but will have to get used to it. grr.
today's cinema paradiso was so much nicer. maybe because people start responding more? hmm. qinyuan got to play the solo today. and it still made our arm hairs stand. haha.
kexin forgot to buy my lunch today. sob. o well. ):
spend most of the afternoon during combine talking about concert etiquette and stuff related to hongkong trip with mr lim. the whole scene was really funny. :D
uncle kelvin's feeling better. might be having piano lessons again real soon. but, after the hk trip too.
missed my music exam. for band. but my dad understood. guess i'll have to retake my exam when i switch music school? yeps.

ok, so more people are asking about them. and i'm starting to find myself despising them too. i mean, seriously, we dont even get to see half of them that often and they expect us to greet instantly, or maybe not. i just saw one of them today, and i totally blanked out. i didnt even know who the hell she was. o well. bet she's going to be go complain to her 'dear friend' that i didnt greet. whatever. anyway, i DID say hi. and she didnt know so many of the rest of us sitting down were all backstabbing her, and her dear friends, which is them. so yes, we'r all putting on facades. we'r all acting friendly. and you know what you all are going to say? "so are we." how fake.

my jaw hurts.i mean duh. ran through a few band pieces quite a couple of times, non stop. my. my mouth. my jaw. no wonder mr lim told us to rest today. lol. but i'm glad. finally we'r able to play somehow MORE like a new 'old' band.
FINALLY. band is held in the AVA ROOM. all the OHPs pushed to the side and stuff. not to mention people freezing and having to sit right at the edge, but hey, this is the only way to help our band for the trip.
siying's right. i've been eating too much chicken rice nowadays.
3 more practices to go. woah. fast. fast.
small update. cheryl chose the express stream. but the schools she chose are almost horrendous. at least regent's 4th. o well. God will place her in where she should be.
the new printer - cum - photocopier - cum - scanner's here and installed. and its glossy black in colour! tampered with it and it worked for me. ultra cool. awesome, babe. :D
CHEERIOS! mum brought back my new 'old' sim card. so now i'll be using back my usual 9846-blah number. people, do give my your numbers again.
anyway, i'm going to have to re-set my priorities when i come back from the hongkong trip, yeah? definitely will NOT ignore the band for studies and stuff like that. but working doubly hard for all my private music instruments will have to step in and go a thousand floors higher. jia you. (:
just logged into maple for like the first time in 3 weeks. some monster dropped a silver board though actually its not supposed to drop anymore. and i was checking my inventory for spaces when some other guy came and 'stole' it from me. i was like. HUH. and my sister was beside me and she saw too. then the way she cursed and her violence, even on the net was scary. i was like. err. wth. tsk. i'm pretty sure i didnt taught her that. uh huh.

i dont know why i feel so exhausted.cheryl just doesnt get it does she? she filled in this form for her to enter BAND in fairfield when she actually needs VOLLEYBALL. o well. since she stubbornly disagrees with me and insists that her teacher is forever right, then there's nothing much i can do. teacher's pet. what a snub.
band was pretty much like that. bedok north's coming over more often cause of the trip and things are getting more heated up. the new combined band sound is really forming and i can now play more comfortably. (:
got to sight read this piece called "perpetum mobile" i think. and it had a lot of Eb solos and solis. ha. i was like so happy. and this bn sec 1 was so adorable, cause she just couldnt get why i was so happy over SOLOs when other people hated them so much. LOL.
Eb solo(s) are RARE. :PPP
my stomach was growling a lot during the small group session today. and it wasnt due to hunger, more like 'water running in the stomach', you get it? yeah. but the growling was REALLY loud. and i could have sworn victor (who happened to be beside me) heard it really clearly. hmm.
my throat is turning slightly sore. damn. too much shouting? too much fried stuff? too little water? i dont know. but now, DRINK MORE WATER!!
life is hard without an ez link card.
teachers just informed me. after the hk trip, the exco will have to start on the next Opus concert project. woah. thats fast.

i just realised i havent been touching maple for like. almost 3 weeks? gosh. o well. who cares. muahas. x)
went to church. this time cheryl came along. she was a bit shocked by the church's auditiorium and stuff cause our family church is like, kind of traditional, that kind of stuff. with not much, er, jumping. lol.
a really good speaker came to preach. but alas. i couldnt catch what he was saying. and i realise he talks as fast as me. grr. maybe thats how ppl feel when i talk so fast too. yes, that must be it.
table's in a mess. but i dont have time for clearing. must stick to my to-do list. and clearing table is under "after hongkong trip". LOL.

its not till people told me "5 more days" that i realise my bday is coming. wow. thats fast. (:
my sister's PSLE score is final. 196. pretty low, i must say. and she's in a dilemna, express or NA? she would definitely want NA. but. to me. with her ability to learn fast, she should just choose express, because her only barrier is that she's plain lazy and bo-chap. o well. its her choice.
went to play the monopoly game at tampinese. and my group had 6 people. me, boonping, chenyang, jonathan, michelle and jason. so yeah. its a 'live' thing. so we had to travel by mrt to different stops to buy property and stuff like that. ha.
and our group was on a lucky streak.
just after the completion of the first stop at the tampinese station, we got chance and community chest, and free parking which is another $100. woo. (:
game went by great. had to run here and there. thanks truckloads to boonping who lend me 5 bucks to top up my ezlink card. :DD
cheryl's friend, merabel, brought a really adorable dog over which will respond to you whether you'r a stranger or not when you clap your hands and stuff. a really tame dog. awesome. i would like one of those kind of dogs. (:

band exchange today. between 3 schools.so the teacher-in-charge was late today, but even so, we managed to get all the instruments and percussion all out in like, 10 minutes in the hall. wow. (:
regent didnt do merry widow very well. but i think its because during these few weeks mr lim had broken down the whole of merry widow into very detailed parts, so we'r more sensitive now and have to start to learn new things right from scratch. but of course, it might also be because most of us forgot what mr lim has said. like me. i so nearly blanked out at the beginning. argh. not good. not good.
co-incidentally, mine and siying's clarinet were err. "stuck". lol.
hongkong trip rehearsal was fun. did the simpler pieces today, but learned a lot. so i'm sitting at the front row 3rd from corner with victor then siying. somehow, feel that i can "learn" a lot from him just by sitting beside him. cause he has this "expression" thing which i dont. muahas.
we got to play games. things were really fun. wanted to join team B for regent but no space. sob. nvm. i'll just get shout more. haha. the winners of the game had to versus the alumnis. loads of hougang's alumni and bn's alumni were there playing for the finals.
heard about the banner thing from dororin and zhenjun. so shocked. never in a million years have i heard of such stuff. totally absurd. but hey. everyone deserves a 2nd chance, right? (:
i'm so tired.

got a new hp strap. will not have to worry about losing my hp. :D
so the p6s are getting back their PSLE results today. too bad cheryl was still in taiwan with dad in the morning, so she wouldnt be getting hers. summed up from cheryl when she returned home at ard 9 that most of her friends got borderlines near 200. oh well. she's pretty freaked out now cause there's rumours that she only got 196. hmm.
band stuff are cleared already. hongkong trip and everything almost done. am so relieved. (:
and guess what.
now i have the handphone, studies and music schools problem. which just erupted like. RECENTLY. since now dad and cheryl are back, i can no longer use cheryl's ezlink card and dad's sim card. sigh.
today, again, i realised how important it is to focus. and i emphasize again. FOCUS.
or else i'll be wasting time and money.
realised my to-do list and schedule is really choke full now. no time to breathe or anything. loads of problems starting to pop up here and there. argh. no worry. i wont run away from the wave. i'll ride it instead. (:

i get really pissed when i have to repeat stupid replies.band combine in the hall felt so weird. guess we werent used to it. with the wide space and everything. it just felt so strange. i dont like it. x)
ate with pohying, xinying and haiqing after band and went over to yuting's hse. so while the flute section were having sectionals, i was taking haiqing. hmm. i dont know. all of a sudden, i realised why his section was giving up on teaching him. guess it was just a matter of facades.
dad and cheryl would be coming home tomorrow. can hardly wait. (:
xinying, me, hayati and pohying stayed up real late at yuting's. and xinying wouldnt stop ranting about CRACKERS. muahas. :D
and my sleeping bunkmate for the trip is Xinying. lol. i shall disturb her. x))
the music school called. so i dont get my engaged accompaniment teacher. damn. so i'll need to find an accompaniment in time for the exam next thurs. how crappy. o well. no worries. after this round, its HELLO NEW MUSIC SCHOOL! BYE BYE OLD MUSIC SCHOOL!

am at gillian's hse now. ha. stayed over at her house last nite. and her hse rocks. (: cause i get to eat cookies and cook scrambled eggs. muahas. ((:
ytd. went to church in the morning. mum fetched me and chenyang over to CHC. so both of us went in and we were like standing in the middle of nowhere up on some chairs.
preaching was really good today. was on about some focus stuff. really good. taught us quite a lot. now i sort of know what i should focus on in my future and stuff like that. lol.
went to the movies and caught Sky High and Harry Potter with hayati and gillian. pinru didnt come. sad. ):
lessons were so crappy. i think. teacher seems a bit mad at me cause i havent arranged my piano accompaniment yet. boo.

i feel worried.and its over very silly reasons. o well.
band was pretty good. didnt get to play all the games, and even almost forgot about lunch. but thank goodness mr lim gave an extra 45 mins, so we had like extra extra time to do either nothing or play around upstairs before lunch even ended. heh.
matthew is finally appreciating the baritone saxophone. really. and he's now like, " senior, senior, senior" at me. wah. purposely one can. zz.
its amazing how little things can affect your life through band. (:
i think our Merry Widow sounded better this time round, cause mr lim used the 'adult' method of teaching with the 'kiddy style' on us. ok. er. crap la. somehow i understand better. and the piece did sound nicer. simpy cant wait for the exchange. :D
i dont know is it me, but things are becoming better in band. much. ((:
went to hayati's with yuting before dinner with them. hayati's hse had like this huge bunny. oo. and her cookies totally rock. :DDD
my dad was right man. chocolate really helps you to gain energy instantly. ;D
yuren is so crappy. he send me the 'I believe I can fly' by William Hung. said it could relieve stress cause of all the off keys and out-of-tune notes. o my. er. and i told him it would pile up stress cause regent band members has to listen to something in tune. (:

guess what. i was at the playground with some of my other bandmates playing games and stuff. and i left my handphone and wallet on top of my bag, quite near to where we were playing. and loads of people walked pass my bag. and i went back to my bag. THE HANDPHONE AND WALLET WENT MISSING. or it got stolen. whatever.SECOND TIME THIS WEEK. damn damn.
if i get another phone, i'm going to get a neckstrap like nathasha's.
my dad didnt scold me for losing my phone the first time this week. he and mum simply said to learn from this lesson. but it doesnt seem like i'm really learning. and now its the SECOND handphone i lost in a WEEK, plus the wallet. o my. i dont know whats going to happen. waiting for him to come back.
i guess i'm really too naive. thinking that all singaporeans are really nice and would never steal a handphone and wallet lying in the open. what a joke.
told my mum. regret. she was like so freaking shocked too. shouldnt have told her, since i usually tell my dad my missing stuff. great.
seriously, i dont know whether i should feel calm or upset or relaxed.
calm: there's nothing i can do abt it
upset: its the SECOND PHONE IN A ROW.

and my junior was transferred to the baritone saxophone today from the clarinet. not that i wanted to. it was really for his own good. but still. i was pretty upset.
band was really good today. thats all i can say. yes it was. and i'm happy about it. anything about band makes me happy. ((:
just as things were becoming better for me, it got worst instead.
anyway. i choose to ride to wave instead of being overwhelmed by it. (:
looking on the bright side now. my whole bag could have gotten stolen, right?
dad and sis going overseas (taiwan) tomorrow. great. home alone.

dad just came back. and i told him. o my. he was SO CALM, you would have thought i was talking to him about the weather. i mean, he wasnt not even the least bit agitated. and he just gave me his phone, nokia 8250 and told me to use it for the time being. and my sister was like, " you can use my ez link card. " then my dad just left with my sis's ezlink to top it up till there's at least $20 inside so that i can travel as much as i want without worrying about the fare when he's overseas. plus he said he will try to buy another phone for me in taiwan. that is, if the singapore plane customs dont find out or something.
i'm really touched and thankful to God that i have VERY understanding family members.

so we had band. did small world again.went for DnT extra lessons. only me, zeting, chenyang and boonping were there. so pathetic. wished they were more people though. its so not like a class. at least i learnt new stuff. like using ink markers and colour pencils. awesome. (:
lunch with some juniors. then collected my violin at home with zhenjun and went to siying's hse for some stuff. thank goodness my violin lesson area was near her hse. woohoo.
lesson was horrible. i knew i didnt improve. ):
slacked around siying's hse. hayati, suhaila and chenyang came over. so there was this really scary horror movie on tv, and me and jiayin were totally freaking out can?! /grins
and yes. since i stayed up till so late, i slept over at her hse. so did zhenjun. LOL. (:

new skin i made. no navigations, just simple and laid out.dad's friend fixed the computer. so its upright now. cheerios. and dad's getting me a new photocopier-cum-printer-scanner to replace the current printer. cant wait.
got my books with nathasha in the morning. poor her. she has got all the really heavy books for a sec 3.
happened to watch the OC taking the sec 1s. was rather shocked. but hey, after all, its their first try. talked to the sec 2 batch for like the dunno-how-manyth time. hope the message gets into though i aint sure i made myself really clear and stuff.
jordan, charles, zeting, nicholas and junhao were over at my house having their sectionals or just playing around. then some sec 2s came and we watched SCHOOL OF ROCK. hoho. never tired of that show. (:
good grief. i forgot all about my maths mock exam earlier this morning. uh oh.
mum brought her friend's k1 daughter Shu Qi over. and she was so adorable. mum said the way shu qi does things and act is like me when i was young. heh. took her over to s11 to buy home some dinner. and she likes fresh milk and strawberry pockey biscuits. lol. (:

random song which came into my head. o well.
i had a bloody leg cramp early in the morning. ouch ouch! ):
watched the westwinds performance at the esplanade with band members. hmm. they even played The Sound Of Music, the piece we played in sec 1! haha. cinema paradiso was a tad disappointing, but i guess it was because of the speed and stuff. a bit too technical. intonation and balance were really good. impressive. (:
timothy chua from sji was sitting infront of us. lol.
went over to Plaza Singapura. checked out Yamaha. and all of us band members were oo-ing and ah-ing at the different instruments. french horns, flutes, piccolos, trumpets, oboes, etc. even my Eb clarinet was on display! :D
got an early train back with haiqing, ya xin, nathasha and jiahui. crapped a lot. like how we plan to go out next week when JIAHUI IS IN THAILAND. /smirks
had my music lesson. today was really short cause i was late. but i think it was one of my best lessons. finally, i've learned to take at least a little glance at the dynamics and i was actually DOING it. my my. (:
exam date is 30th nov. woo. have to start memorising for Viva Voce now.

met up with other band members at cck ctrl at 6:30am. we'r nuts! but is the spirit! LOL.li xin was at bedok north! :DDD
took the mrt back to cck ctrl with eliana, nadirah (bnss), pohying and sufei. and we were so lame all the way back, can?!
met up at 2:30pm with chenyang and bronson. went church visiting at jurong. the city harvest one. saw levon from dlss. met someone new, like that 3-10 guy in jiahui's class. loads of regenites there. haha.
so this church is still yet different. the choir, music and people, all really strong. there must be like 50 people singing together on those platforms like angels coming down from heaven. and the music, they even have trumpets, trombones and saxophones. and for the people, the auditorium is really huge, somehow reassembling the singapore indoor stadium, but smaller version.
CHENYANG ACCEPTED CHRIST! :D
okay, so there was this really glad feeling fluttering in my heart. cause its like the first time i witness one of my friends accepting christ. somehow. lol. o well.
hung around a bit with them at their church and strangely, at the rooftop. and there's this band kid in sec 2. he's from fairfield, and plays percussion. kai den i think. and he said i was a SEC ONE. -.-
went home rather late, no one at home. but who cares. i enjoyed service. (;

WOOHOO.my new sim card has been delivered successfully to me, although there were some hitches here and there, but still, ITS HERE.
in case you'r wondering, i'm using my previous E600C handphone which i had give my sister Cheryl. (of course, i asked her permission). and gosh. the state of it. when it was given to cheryl, there was like. only ONE scratch. now its like. WOAH. ONE TWO THREE FOUR FIVE... etc.
hmph.
i want the E720C! shall ask mum when she comes back from thailand.

will be switching one of my music schools next year. instead of Symphony Music School, i'll be going to the Methodist School of Music next year. not sure yet. just that i want a better learning environment and my dad seems to be rather happy with this change i thought about.

i still have that terrible headache.band was good today cause it was REGENT ENRICHMENT DAY. (seriously, it didnt seem very enriching can?) p6s were walking around and the band did a introduction for each instrument. and the teachers told us we got comments from the p6s in the feedback form that "symphonic band has very nice people". LOL. ((((:
thanks to people like those from the recruit department and OrC Promotional committee members especially haiqing and hayati that bunch who ran around like mad people gathering p6s and stuff. haha.
took the band for Samba De Loves You. woohoo. and we'r IMPROVING. aint i gladddd. x)

my head has been spinning like a record the whole day. ouch.so i skipped POA and history extra lessons today. for the first time in my life. hoho. say i'm bad.
went for band and had combine. mr lim seemed to be much happier today. only that everyone seemed to keep forgetting things here and there though we write so much on our scores. so yeah. JIA YOU ! ;DD

mr SEOW was being a big big pain in the ass. i mean, yes, i apologise if my band members forgot to ask him for permission about the OHP thing, which i'm not even sure about. then he still ranted about stuff which are totally HUH. o well. i'm not surprised some people purposely when to irritate him like throwing stuff at him making him so mad. LOL.

the sec 2s got their posting results. congrats to most of them for getting what they want. especially, to NATHASHA, ADELINE, YUREN AND DESMOND either cause they got into triple/double sci + amaths classes when they kept whining that they wont get in cause their maths wasnt good enough and stuff. muahas. and to SUHAILA and ANYU too cause they got the class they wanted. ;D
dont worry NATHASHA, it'll be FINE. at the most, when you study i come down and pei you at mcdonalds! :DDDDD
jiahui, jordan, charles, catherine, suhaila and zhenjun came over afterwards to practice their instruments. it was like a brass thing or something. almost like a brass quintet. haha.
i need a notebook to record numbers. life is still weird w/o a hp. but i'm learning to get used to it. for now.
asked my dad to get me a mp3 when he and my sister goes to taiwan. my demands aint that high. i just want one which can store at least 100 songs and has a display screen.
my birthday wishlist has just gotten much longer.
violin lesson. teacher knows the band's trip is coming up and i prob wont have time to practice violin (EXCUSES!!!). so we did SPRING from FOUR SEASONS again. ha. i'm IMPROVING. i actually can SEE the dynamic indications. like. wow? finally i learn how to look at the 'ff' and 'pp' without staring at the notes too hard.
i dont like it when a certain person purposely say stuff like "i pity you" or stuff like that. like that person wants my attention by using this type of method. woohoo. in chinese, "bei bi". i dont even know whats that. but hey. its on tv ok.

walked around lot 1 with baohui and marion after chinese extra lessons. basically, we were really crapping around. lol.

so i lost my handphone today on the taxi on my way to bedok north. and i dont know how to get it back, a plus factor that its like NEW.
i'm not mad or upset about that. dead serious. i'm just like. " its ok. no biggie. just cut the line first, thats important. " not that i dont care, just that i know i cant possibly broad over this matter like some sick freak. i rather take it from a sort of "bright side" first.
so yeah. i'm getting a new free sim card tomorrow. thats all. phone? just going to be borrow the E600C handphone from my sister. thats settled. still, she'll be needing it soon in a few weeks time. and i guess i cant possibly buy another identical E700A right? who would be such a retard. shall start looking for new phones. with mp3 players inside. /snorts

i'm so smart can?! heh. i flipped my computer screen upside down. so its well. erm. "upright" now. dad's fren is gonna come over and fix stuff. great. the sooner, the better. went for music lessons. it wasnt a good one today. i felt like i was showing attitude and that i didnt dare to play out. its like, you know the material, but you just couldnt show it.
now i know why the french horn section dare not play out last time in front of mr lim. i think.
anyway, teacher was being really nice. he was trying to cheer me up by putting in some good comments here and there, when i really knew it was all a fraud. i despise this kind of teachers. those who do not dare to handle and talk to or scold their students when they jolly well know its the students fault.
on the other hand.
its the students fault cause they cant not "exploit" their attitude and moodswings and stuff.
ok whatever. i'm not making any sense.

so my piano accompaniment has been changed and now the school is looking for a new replacement for me. cause the pianist said she couldnt catch up with me in everything. uh. i had that feeling like, "is that my fault? opps. dont blame me if you didnt practice at home, my dear." (:

i dont like it when we have chemistry lessons. ):chinese was great. mr alan choo's back with us. and only like 7 of us stayed for that extra lesson. hmm. i was sort of wondering how pathetic we are. 1 whole hour, and we only managed 3 paragraphs of the cloze passage. zz. i bet the other class has like finished 6 pages. not that its mr choo's fault, just that the 7 of us didnt understand a single thing the cloze passage was hinting us about. so my paper has like english words and arrows flying all over. how hardworking of me, eh?
this is what its like in the last chinese class. hoho. you get SPECIAL attention. ;D
band was really really fruitful this time round. i seemed to be absorbing so much information that i so nearly burst. haa. ((:

i woke up today to posters lying on top of me.thats right. the posters on the ceiling fell down. grr. guess blutack aint that strong with all the wind and stuff blowing. shall get some tape. soon.
band mates came over for sectionals. and it was so corny cause my room was "the woodwinds' room" and the study room was "the brasses' room". and some of us were watching King And I. ok. that show is GREAT can. so darn hilarious at times. woohoooo. ;D
rena is so CUTE can?! simply cant stand her. teach her i also will keep laughing for absolutely no reason. x)
ate dinnner with siying, jiayin and rena. and we met joseph and yaqing and their friends. jiayin so crappy la, she went to trick yaqing that i got transferred to the french horn section. and i was like. RIGHT. haha.
band, chemistry and chinese extra lessons tomorrow. what a collision. damn.

my eyes are starting to close. zz.had emaths extra lessons at 8am. hoho. mom finally made a SUCCESSFUL drive-in into the school. woohoo.
yikes. so many people didnt turn up for band. mostly the muslim pupils, since its gonna be hari raya and all. i wanna go to my muslim juniors' houses to celebrate with them. sob. ):
jiahui came over and my mom brought both of us out in the car and we went place hunting! drove here and there, tried to read the map correctly and stuff. after dunno how long, we finally found this center which my mom was looking for. geez.
o irght. did i mention that yesterday my mom and dad were discussing whether i should learn to ride a motorbike or drive a car when i turn 18? i was like. wah lao.
had my violin lessons. my teacher's gonna burst. cause he says i'm not playing loud enough. same goes for my clarinet. think mr lim's going to burst a blood vessel. argh. not that i "dont want" to, its that "i dont know how soft i am". rahs. i tried so hard today. )):
on a lighter note, we tried Spring from the four seasons by Vivaldi today. woohoo. and it aint that difficult. (:
mom brought me and my sister over to her friend's hse again. and i could TELL that little girl wanted to play with me. i just know. haha.
did a radical thing. totally changed my room. from the normal super duper plain one to something more. erm. not-so-normal. ha. so i spent time removing my posters from my walls and pasting them on the ceiling. and my bed's off to the corner. and in its place is where my two stands are. and i moved my music instruments except for the piano into my room. heh. now awaiting an extra table perhaps to fill up the emptiness. ((:

spent the day practicing LOADS of music. just the wind instruments made my jaw hurt. argh. i should remember better warm up techniques. piano, i concentrated so hard, it almost drove me nuts.
i think i'm really spoilt. woke up this morning whining for a REALLY short while i wanted ice cream. the next thing you know, my dad went down to buy it. too bad it wasnt mint ice cream, but still, i'm grateful. (:
