am at jiahui's hse now.staying over with siying and my sis.
currently, whats happening?
they'r mugging. dylan's watching tv. i'm staring at this screen.
anyway, we watched the prefects' camp on video. mr chen, radical. haha. jiahui wouldnt stop rewinding to show her face, hur. i thought the dance was cool, but jiahui told me otherwise on some other stuff on some of the people. somehow, i felt that it was so unfair that people would judge that girl because of stuff? oh well. i dont want to get involved, i dont know much, i'm not a prefect, i shouldnt be saying all this. told my father i'm thinking of going for surgery to remove my webbed linkage part of my thumb and forefinger cause i can only reach one octave max on the piano (think, short fingers!) he told me i wont be able to swim anymore after that happens cause ducks have webbed feets too. oh.

watched the movie, THE WILD. its pretty, dumb, but a bit funny too. doesnt prove much of a laughter like Madagascar.

physics test today. like, i didnt know. sort of did last minutes revising, but only revised a lil bit, didnt want to cram. but the test was pretty ok. mostly common sensical stuff like, magnets and stuff like that. hur.i forgot there was history today. cause i didnt look at my timetable while checking my bag last night, haha. but mrs sheree chong didnt even come, so what the heck. me and siti ended up looking through catalogues and books on overseas education, hoho.
got back my ss test paper. the one which i totally didnt finish. 11/25. kill me, its SEQ! usually i can get that A like nothing. alright, i'll face the fact, i didnt finish even half. me and my slow thinking. lol.
chinese mye oral today. my turn was horrible. i couldnt read so many words which seemed so familiar. catherine and the rest said it was very very easy. and i'm like, err. conversation, i usually score the most here. seemed to get tongue twisted today. i almost replied "ying wei pa pa ma ma ye ye po po lai dao xing jia po with their efforts..". but i scraped off the english part, leaving the last chinese word trailing in the air. the chinese teacher so prompted me. i dont know, i dont know, i dont know how to explain what i wanted to say. argh.

PE lesson, had retesting for those who failed in their stations. i was so right, mdm loh made me do my standing broad jumps again. hur. anyway, she told me to try again after the mid years. oh boy.rushed to acs after lessons for music paper 2 mye. the paper was pretty much average. melody writing left me clueless, out of the first four notes, 3 of them was flatten. i was pretty much almost at a loss on what to compose. harmony, for once was alright. seriously hope i dont screw it up.analysis, i left some questions blank. especially that ornaments one, it was familiar, but i just couldnt remember. hur.
went home, dropped off bag, grabbed my flute and scores, and rushed to soo min's hse. i'm so busy, yes i am.
second time rehearsing with her. blah blah. then she took out her clarinet which her parents bought for her, but yet she doesnt know how to play it, being the trombonist she is. lol. her clarinet's the same as our school's yamahas i think. hmm. oh well. i sort of taught her a lil basics on clarinet and stuff. heh (:

today's a TUESDAY.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY IAN!
no biggie, tomorrow's my first mid year. -screams- oh well. its ok. i'm all relaxed and calm. music mid year paper 2. harmony? screw it. i hate harmony. maybe God will give me a chance for the rest of paper 2. hopefully, melody writing. its like, freaking simple.
the guy who's named Sergeoh came back to take us for english. and he's been telling us stories the whole day. about him. and his life. lots of sexuality and vulgarities involved, but it kept our class awake. i cant imagine how weida could laugh so loudly. i think i'm really slow. i didnt understand his jokes till like, years later. crap.
oh yes! it was a SUCCESSFUL 5 periods of dnt lessons today. after 3 weeks, i've FINALLY gotten my inspiration back on track. and i'm now bursting with ideas, thank God! (:

napfa test today. it was so sudden actually. our class hadnt touched any stations during PE for practice before, oh boy. got a 133cm for standing broadjump. dont laugh, i improved by 20cm. hur. i still fail. argh. i'm still scared to jump, and swing. ha.ha?

and i'm very pleased with myself. i'm really sticking to my music and quiet time fixed schedule since it started a few days ago. haha.
piano has been improving, soon i'll be back to my usual standard and maybe better. flute is getting better. violin, i'm starting from basics all over again so that i can perfect everything, and its been going very very well. i'm listening a lot more. a lot more sensitive too. all my music teachers will definitely be pleased if i continue this and return to the music schools next year with the not-sloppy-and-tired-rebecca-who-has-lost-her-standards. especially lee! (oh, i saw him with his gf. it was really funny can) LOL. (:
of course, i'll really have to thank God for letting me become more focused. yes, yes.
so is quiet time. i'm spending more quality time. even my sister is joining in. and yes, i'm glad i'm more sensitive. (:

mr chen had this one on one interview with everyone today. when it was my turn, he asked A LOT A LOT of qns, just like for everyone. like, how you'r coping with studies, cca, family, friends, o levels, and what you want to be when you grow up, that sort of career related stuff? yeah. i indicated to him that i was not going to place my o levels on top of everything, but rather 2nd or 3rd, or even at the same level as everything i have. he seemed to understand perfectly well. i'm glad God had given me Mr Chen. i will not want to disappoint Mr Chen seeing the trust God has given him on me. no, i wont. (:
english oral today. marks going in for prelims. i think i did quite well. i was relaxing, maybe being TOO relaxed, as usual. no stress or anything. oh well, thats just how i am. hmm. anyway, the teacher wasnt too pleased with my reading though, she said i was going way too fast and she has to mark me down. oh boy. hmm.

cant remember a thing. other than everyone going to school at different times, even as late as 10am. and on my way to school at 8:10 (school bell goes off at 8:15 only for today cause of the awards day last night), loads and loads and loads of ppl were on the bus. LOL.
oh yes, and our class was thrown out of the hall and suspended for chinese oral. great. i dont blame anyone, the teacher probably saw too little of our class.

awards day!school let off early today. but we still had our history test which i studied 5 minutes before it started. on cold war. yuck. but i still think i did well, should be a confirmed A. hopefully A1 again. i dont want a A2. oh yes. got back my homework assignment. another A1 for history. woo.
the rehearsal was weird at SP. we didnt really run through. did some other stuff, like settle arrangements and like that. our holding room, had to share with other ccas, but we did get quite a reasonable portion, so we shouldnt be complaining. (:
saw some of my classmates (mostly boys) before they entered the auditorium, ho, the guys looked so much better than their usual bo-chap ah beng-wannabe look. err. yeah.
band performed. hall was still quite noisy. think we got their attention. cecilia did a really good job on her solo! (:
asked around. turned out band was one of the best few ccas which performed. YAYNESS. =D
ate at mac with kexin and jiahui. lots of regent ppl recognized us from our band uniforms, lol. said hi to lots of ppl i didnt know from regent. lol. hmm. jiahui tricked laypeng that our peformance was horrible. LOL. alrightttt.

busy busy day today.mdm loh made us our 2.4km again today. for "fun". sort of. i ran the whole thing without stopping, and my timing was 17 mins! omg. and to think my previous time was 14.40 when i stopped for at least a lap. err. oh well, thank goodness she's taking my better timing. heh.
no extra band today, so weird.
had chemistry extra lessons. yucks. oh well. i have no interest for the sciences. whatever. haha.
topic was on fuels, and, i hate fuels. ok. random.
then met up with soomin. went to her house for exam practice. music paper 3 (practical) mid year is next friday, and i havent tried out the piece with her accompanying me. thank goodness it sounded pretty good. (:
then met up with laypeng for discipleship. (ya i know, i'm so busy, meeting so many ppl) and adelene plus a few more ppl came along. to my house, including jiahui. my room is so comfy that laypeng almost fell asleep. ha. :D

went for GB and BB enrolment service in the morning. saw leon and esther! haha. the world is just so small.wanted to rush down to sentosa with jiahui afterwards but it rained so so heavily at church. so instead when it stopped, we rushed down to harbourfront and waited for some people there.
me and jiahui were totally wandering around harbourfront, and we each bought 3 pieces of bread. THREE. thats a lot can. heh. finally found jordan and charles, jiahui even ate chicken rice with them again, i dont know how she does it but i only could stuff in a cup of watermelon juice.
met up with music students at city hall. wei lu and qi you were there already so 3 of us walked around raffles. met sinyee and yvonne along the escalator. hmm. yeah. exploed CHIJMES with wei lu and qi you. finally samantha reached already. ate at hawker centre near esplanade, and naomi, christine and wei zhi joined us.
concert starting. esther, jeff, joanne and evangeline met us up too. saw hazizi and victor. hmm. yeah. acs i boys sitting in front of us fell asleep can. the last piece was 30 mins long, crazy. Prokofiev piece was better than i expected. live is always better.
had to go home early, disappointingly, cause there's band tomorrow. yeah.

new OC, probational section leaders and department heads were all released today.and i was so excited, and yes nervous, that i stared at anyu and said "azah". oh boy. i'm getting blur-ified. hur. almost scared charles half to death.
to people who are really shocked with all the posts. there's nothing to be shocked about. you still have tetra camp to go through. thats the real training. yeah.
and for people with new posts. its either you'r happy, neutral or sad. maybe some people expected some other people to had a higher post or whatever, but yes, this is an OC. no use going on and on about it, whether its," why she never get that post?! "or" why not him? "or " why me? "
what good is it saying all this now?
all sec 3s have their probational posts now, so does some sec 2s, i myself feel its best if everyone tries their best for this probational period instead of whining and demoralising yourself and saying you'r scared you wont do a good job.you all will (:
history was horrible. no teacher today in the library. so we chit chat play games, and i taught some of the boys how to play pokemon in their cellphones. totally hilarious.

half day of school today. but i still had a great time, especially at PE. me and gangyuan vs elaine plus two unknown sec 3 boys. heh. :Dsports day meet. i was walking up and down with jocelyn and some others. cause i didnt want to sit with my house which had NO one i really knew. ended up sitting at the Resilience side, and then, loads of band members joined us, mostly sec 4s. so we were really crazy. kept screaming and cheering... but only for band members. haha.
maybe you could have proved me wrong
anyway, i thought of taking a one year break after my o levels. so maybe i wont go for jc or poly or any arts school. sort of like stephanie sun going on hiatus right. oh well. then perhaps i can really 'chiong' on all four instruments for performance diplomas. 4 diplomas in 1 or 2 years? somehow, it feels better than only getting one after 3 years. zz. hurhur. and partly cause i dont want jc. or poly. or nafa/lasalle. boo.

ok, i'm trying to finish this post by 8pm.english was really good today. mr nonis and his crappy stuff on the primary school stuff. i didnt fall asleep. (:
DnT. i just realised how much i'm lacking. not my usual speed, and since i've been on a sort of 'break' for my own inspiration sessions for abt 3 weeks, i should really start working on my product again. yes, i want to go to the workshop with haozhi cause he is already the fastest in the class. i will catch up (:
rehearsal was today. the hall is horrible, so dry and everything. i almost couldnt hear siying even. BOO. the school should have used the rifle range.
mr chen came to find me. he told me he talked the vp already. and that the criteria for my sister to transfer to regent is her aggregate must be 210 and above, plus, she must be very very strong in her english, as there's only space in the top class.
i think my sister can forget about it. english isnt really, her thing.
what to do, regent is just so ARTS. (:
mr lim wanted to edit the solo parts himself today. so i spent time during combine drawing music lines for jiahui. LOL. blahs.

LAY PENG!" but she couldnt hear us.
then zeting thought of the most .... thing.
all of us tried to form the letter ' L ' and ' P ' standing up.
but someone thought we were going "linkin park!"

just finished quiet time, exactly at 9:49. very nice timing. lol.i screamed today when i was looking through my sister's school's band website. the trumpet section leader is like, my friend. like, CONFIRM LAH. heh.SO FUNNY.
i think i finished my english test a bit too fast today. as in i did the first-answer-which-comes-to-your-mind method. not very reliable, but the passage was too difficult for me to digest. at least better than leaving blank answers. upon finishing the paper, i fell asleep. mr nonis was trying to wake me up to ask whether i have completed the paper. (:
nice teacher he is. (:
had a great bigggg headache during maths. mrs fong could tell i think. or either she thought i was yawning. lol. so she called on me twice for answers. thank goodness for the first time boonping helped me, second time i managed to answer it myself. :D
transformations, so easy, yet so tough.
my section s1s came to my house today. taught a bit and give them sort of schedules. flute section was having sectionals too at my house, so yeah, here music there music. then we had this combine picnic thing at my LIVING ROOM. yeah. all of us (flutes+clarinets) (cecilia and mariana just came over after their class trip) around the food. lol. :D
my heart just dived.

my sister woke me up instead today. reached church at 7:50am, late by a few minutes but was definitely earlier than jiahui! LOL.anyway, my duty was in the kitchen. making some breakfast set. and there was another girl named rebecca doing kitchen duty too, so everytime someone shouted for a 'rebecca', both of us would turn, usually being the other rebecca being called cause she's in charge of taking notes of orders in and out. but thank God, after half the session, i responded to 'becky' instead. heh.
no one wanted breakfast set that much. ):
so i helped mei yan with her fried food. lots and lots of it. we used just enough oil to dunk the frozen food in and blah blah. deep fried everything. as in, REALLY deep fried. lol.
cheryl was so tired that she was lying against the pillar and sleeping after the whole thing. and pastor danial saw her and kept asking me and her whether was she ok. so dots. err. then somehow, we talked till band with some others. right. lol.
visited my 2nd aunt. she has a dog. a dog which keeps attempting to lick my toes but unsuccessfully, licking the sock instead. cute right.
cheryl finally got her phone. she's so attached to it now. what a scam it was to buy her one. at least my room doesnt stink like hers! -evil grin

band today. had combine in the parade square, dont get me wrong, the AVA room, the rifle range, everything was open, so it wasnt that we didnt have space. heh. was kind of weird, but it exposed even more of our mistakes and intonation problems plus other stuff like that.

church, sermon was by wanping this time. yeah. felt a bit odd without any sermon notes, so we had to do own-note writing, kind of like in a lecturer's theatre, lol, but oh well. lol.

i'm currently worried for, some friends. oh well. RANDOM.
today was contact time and we had to do our target setting according to our PSLE-linked scores. so i was quite fine with everything, As and Bs, yes. but i didnt expect my chinese target score to be high. a B3. i mean, for all this past 4 years, i have been getting D7s or C6s and i thought i was really improving. oh boy. so near, but actually so far away.i must get at least a B for chinese for Os. and yes i will try my best, cannot let mr choo down. (:
we'll do it for God. :D
today was the cca bazaar again. so i didnt went for music. instead, i went to the Haunted House with nathasha and anyu. ELDDS, good job! some girls were really screaming their heads off. lol. anyway, at some parts of it, yeah, it was creepy, but for no apparant reason, we just started laughing at the middle. LOL. oh well.
choir sec 3s. i just knew 3 of them today. vanessa, si qi and xue ting. nice friendly girls they are, yes. so they were sort of counselling this sec 1 girl who was somehow, too daring, too dangerous, that she was just shouting randomly at any "big shot guy" for that matter. that type of girl. who would get eventually into trouble if she was not careful. happened to be chatting with them while waiting for others and i thought they made a lot of sense even though they were sec3s i didnt know.
xueting told the sec 1 girl to respect her seniors no matter what. even if they show face, or disrespect you youself, or scold you, or even do the worst things like fighting you because it will create trouble not only for yourself, but for others too. just try not to care much about them, of course, without showing it.
i was really shocked and impressed at this xueting girl. cause its so, well, 'unexpected'. even if i were a sec 1 or 2, i wouldnt be thinking that far. and high. and matured maybe?
ok so i thought choir are those like, super duper quiet girl type, but hey, this 3 girls are really different. (:

felt so exhausted today morning, for no apparent reason. yeah. strange. anyway, the rashes and bruises like stuff on my hand are still there. and my whole arm hurts. blah. too rough for badminton? maybe. lol.made friends with 2 of the 4/8 girls during history class (mixed) discussion. one's amira, and another, i forgot her name. both of them were really nice to me and siti, and oh boy, we talked a lot a lot and enquired a lot about o levels when they took it last year. heh. (:
mr nonis and mdm rohaini didnt come. so we had free periods again. mr nonis's class was like, right before recess, so you can imagine, every simply left the class with the relief teacher himself inside. me, siti and elaine just went straight to the cca bazaar. lol.
movement and dance's brownies were good (:
i helped to promote theirs' and npcc's. LOL.
and basketball's cake was very very good,
social studies test was like, oh well, i totally rushed. could have had more time to write more but i just had to dilly-dally. hur.
parallel vectors? whats that. oh no.
band. we actually ran through the whole piece. and i was pretty shocked too, that we didnt break down in any slowing down parts or stuff like that. i think we improved in black magic women, and mr lim's method somehow proved to be more effective. today we had extra time so mr lim tried sight reading four scottish dances with us, last movement. and i was thinking why flutes and piccolo could play so fast up and down while i was struggling. andddd. they have C major which has no sharps no flats while us clarinets had 5 SHARPS. ha. needless to say, us clarinetists kept pretending to jeer at them while ruyu went on about her getting the top A. LOL.
today i realised how big our band was when they had to fall in at the canteen instead due to people doing some sports at the quadrangle. ha. :D

we ran 2.4 km today. my time was 14:40. exactly the same as my sister's. oh boy.badminton is still fun!:DD
PSE and SS teachers didnt come.so another 2 relief teachers. gosh. teachers must hate us. er.we got to look at this exhibition during the free period in the hall, i think it was rather interesting since it was SOMEHOW like the science center, only we dont get to press enough buttons.
transformation is boring and horrible.
but we'll strive to the end! heh. (:
slacked at the library with elaine. kept pushing siying to talk to elaine, but she didnt want to! dots. haha. i love reversi!

ate at lot one with siying while waiting for pinfen, hayati and laypeng. and i think we talked a lot. as usual. ho. and there were 3 sec 1 teck whyians who kept looking at us across us. so i said hi to them, and asked stuff like, what class, that type.i'm just so friendly, what to do?
laypeng had discipleship with me then. in the library. and hayati had to wait, plus she had to read baby books at the corner. LOL.
oh yes. played one-on-one volleyball today. think i havent been playing for a very long time, and rashes like stuff started appearing on my arms. horrible. people would have thought it was the hand food mouth disease thing. gosh. and it hurts too. ouch.

mr choo gave us the O levels chinese TYS the school has just bought for us. and i was like, AH? i mean, our chinese os are like, less than 2 months away, and now then they give us. lol. anyway, yvonne has starting chiong-ing for chinese. i just started on the first page of the TYS after 2 periods of english translation. err.
i forgot to bring my Dnt folio today. realised that only in school. but it doesnt matter, mr kamar surprisely didnt request for any checking today, so yes. i spent more time taking photos.
thank you haozhi and zhenyuan for lending me your camera phones.
and chenyang and zhenyuan again for taking photos of the sec1s in the bio lab AND keeping guard for me when i snuck into the chem lab. LOL.
band was good today. i was happy, my section was happy, the band was happy, mr lim was happy. being happy is good. er, yah. of course got some of us will get reprimanded here and there once in a while for forgetting stuff, but it'll all come back to us. (:

ate with my sister and mother at suki sushi despite the fact that i had a totally horrible and disgusting nightmare last time about getting stuffed with too much suki sushi, resulting in me wanting to puke the whole day in school. heh. =p
oh yes. there's a new shoerack, a new armchair and a new masterbedroom bed. the armchair is for me i think, but i hate the colours. boo. checkered dull lime green and blue-green? eww. NO.

we used up the first two lessons for some target setting talk given to all the sec 4s early in the morning. although it was like really really boring, it somehow caught my attention. boo. maths is just so important. (:i shall try my very best to do well in maths, yes i will. (:
sectionals at my house for the sec 2s. jennifer came too. had fun teaching them to play loud and confidently. especially when they were doing sight reading. haha. go cecilia! :D
anyway, we had section talk in my room later. in my AIR CON-ed room. yes, the air con is fixed. yayness. and we were eating microwaved hashbrowns and sausages. LOL.
i feel my section getting so much closer. (:

i feel dizzy.i was stuck mostly to the couch today. couch potato. good shows today. LOL. plus i watched a few home movies with my sister. heh.
campus superstar was on today. i watched, since its like, the finals? yeah. i like boys with great eyes, so i adore adriano and renfred. haha. everyone who sang today was good. (:

i think i can be a very good campus superstar judge. or any other. but a mean one. LOL.
my phone is like damn spoilt. when my mother calls me, my phone doesnt even ring already. and smses are number one, freaking slow when i send it out, and its freaking slow, when people send to me too.
whatever. my father is supposed to get me a new one. but yes, he just wanted to delay. so he cant scold me if i dont answer his calls. i wont even know he called what. hur.

anyway, i dont like it when people 'pull out' all of a sudden. its too sudden, and it shows me i cannot trust people anymore.today i asked my dad what time he would get back when he went out with his friend so that he could bring me and my sister out. he reckoned about late afternoon. so i went to bathe and waited. and waited. in the end he never turned up. and when he got home, he didnt want to go anymore. i was very pissed. very. its not like i threw a tantrum straight away. i was waiting for an explanation.anyway, it never came.my mom was angry at my dad too, say this and never do it. blahs. kind of remind me of someone, a friend of mine whom i never trusted to do jobs which i assigned.
actually, lets not rake it up again.
thank God i can throw out all i want to say here. hur. if you'r smart enough, dont come to me and say that i must try to understand this because blah blah blah unless you are my dad himself. you wont get into my ears. i'm not stubborn, you are, trying to pull it off on me. (:

band. this week, band is been really, 'sian'. not in the bored way. more like the, everyone seems to be 'put off' all of a sudden. not literally. rather, we need to put in more effort than usual. tiresome, i know, i would hate to add in any more sectionals, i hate sectionals myself. haha. so much for crap about band major having to pretend to love every part about band, but hey, i dislike sectionals (ok i'm mean, i love combines only, thats why. LOL) , but i still go on with it with my siao section because we must improve. HA.oh well, push harder. (:
went to church. jennifer, nicholas and haiqing came! lol. yeah. had outdoor games today, and group 1 (my group) won! :D
thought service was kind of messy (so many people!) today, mainly cause its the combined service today. saw loads of lasallians. in fact, after dinner, i talked or said hi to hillary, hanson, eve, mel, yeah, the ex-de la salle pupils. woo. lol. :DD
so tired today. laa.
