ok. i simply MUST post this though i claimed i wont post anything today.at around 5pm, my dad and i went into a mad rush. sort of. we went to bishan, to look for HERMIT CRABS. yes. dad wanted to buy some. and we looked for it for like an hour cause everyone gave different directions. and gillian's one was the most reliable, so YAY! to her.
but dad was so hungry. so we were to eat. couldnt decide between taiwan dim sum or italian pasta. so we ate random food at the basement from different stores. we split ALL the food we bought into half so that we wont get full. lol. our food listing dinner order.
1. chicken pie from polar
2. sour cream pretzel from aunt -something-
3. oyster mee sua from that taiwan shop
4. jap balls from some jap stall (it sucks)
5. jap chicken sticks from jap stall
6a. chocolate soya milk for dad
6b. strawberry juice for me
7. spring rolls from old chang kee
finally we went back to find the crabs. and. hermit crabs are so damn adorable! (:
2 crabs plus some other accessories cost like $101. woah. haha. was about to buy when dad pointed out that we would have to bring the poor crab about till we finished shopping for my stuff. true. so we went to get my stuff.
i'm such a spender, i never knew that. i really had never.
first, went to CONVERSE. bought a jacket ($60), shirt ($30) and a long sleeved shirt($40). and its mostly guys' clothes. muahas. people, feel jealous! especially pohying! haa. guess what. bishan had this REALLY big MAN STUDIO shop (bigger than lot 1's laa) and my dad was pulling me in to buy, and i did the most stupid thing ever. i said, "later come back". which we didnt, due to lack of time. sad. ):
next, we went over to causeway point. terminated my classes with the music school for next year, might be going to another school. MSM maybe. then went to POPULAR. got my band file, ribbons and loads of stuff. then went to body shop, metro and lots of places before ending up at John Little where i found other stuff i needed. then went to 77th street to look for black hair accessories but couldnt find it. rushed to CHAMELON and it was like CLOSED already but the store gate was half shut. so dad told the saleswoman something and i got to go in and buy the stuff. woo. then. we chewed on bread and mash potatoes before realising that the shop outside were selling the exact same things we were looking for. whatever. still had time, (10pm) so got a hairband and coloured socks. haaa.
so we didnt had the time to get my hermit crabs. o well. dad said i could get it next week. and maybe FOUR crabs instead. yay yay. i like this. its like my house is under major renovation. o yes it is. thanks to the PLUMBER who came ytd. ahha. shall be getting it with my new desk, new cd rack and new book racks. and perhaps a new dog a few months later. :D
its not my fault i do this so last minute. i just like that rush feeling. dad said he is like that too. SEE! ITS IN THE GENES! /frowns
ok. i'm only halfway done in packing my bag. argh. and my luggage is FREAKING big. boo!
