anyway. i was just reading my friend's blogs. loads of them. and i realised most of them, who are band members, have problem practicing their instruments at home. matter mostly because of their NEIGHBOURS complaining.therefore, i thought to myself.
i'm so lucky to have GREAT and WONDERFUL neighbours. (:
let me give you a couple of scenarios.
firstly, i was practicing some exam piece on my piano (when it was still in the living room) when all of a sudden i received a phone call from my neighbour asking me to play titanic for them to hear. (:
secondly, i was playing I WANT IT THAT WAY by the backstreet boys on the piano repeatly daily non-stop when i was in p5. when i went for my lesson, my piano teacher (who stays 3 floors below me) told me that HIS neighbour asked him why I always played the same pieces recently, and told my teacher to tell me to try some new pieces. LOL.

ok. i know i'm super lucky. i dont usually get any complains when i practice all my other instruments, mainly cause it isnt THAT loud or echo-y like the piano.
plus i also have neighbours who stay across my flat. which in case you dont understand, there's a sort of garden/park seperating us.
so once i played the Eb clarinet till one of its top notes. and i received a sms which went like "HEY! YOU'R PRACTICING! (((:"
haaa.
and its not only me.
my other neighbour who stays directly below me plays the keyboard everyday.
another across plays the trombone (mostly scales and band pieces).
another across plays the horn (new neighbour). and he's like DAMN DAMN DAMN DAMN pro (maybe from syo!) with his sound projecting everywhere towards the nearby blocks.and my piano teacher himself who plays so many pieces.
guess what.
not even a single complaint. (:
instead, they even recomment us new pieces to play and what pieces they are even SICK of listening to . LOL. amusing isnt it.
and i MYSELF listen to THEM especially the horn player, and enjoys their music. even when they are just warming up. (((:
