had to go to teck whye secondary for cheryl's CCA orientation. all the cca performing arts group performed, and the emcee (who was a teacher) was like, i dont know, a bit, too braggy? fake bragging? i dont know.its like they make so much fuss of a silver award till it becomes THE PRESTIGIOUS SILVER AWARD.
woah.
ok whatever babe.
their band played some pieces, noticed one ex-lasallian. mabel. didnt know she switched to oboe. cool.
then their dance groups. i really like their indian dance. maybe cause regent doesnt have it. malay dance was just there. the chinese dance the britney spears modern type, so i was super not used to it. different school, different styles.
their chinese orchestra was up next. and i must say, i'm impressed. their conducter is really a 'motivater', anyone and everyone could tell. loads of ex-lasallians too. surprised.
so the sec 1s came in and had their little initation ceremony thing. pretty cool, i wished regent had one like this too. they had this cheering competition, and my sister's class was surprisingly loud. and tough too. lol.
had to wait in the canteen with dad for like. dont know how long till we got bored and explored the school. by lift. haha. cheryl's floor is on the SIXTH floor. no wonder the complaints. /grins
so cheryl's confused for her ccas now. i dont blame her. the school councillors brought her class around to look at every single cca and they have to make choices like the PSLE ones, SIX. poor her.
took her friend's car home. and her friend, li ting asked me whether should she choose band or Chinese orchestra. and i told her CO. sue me all band mates, i'm a band major yet i'm doing this, but hey, she was going 'ER HU! ER HU!', i couldnt possibly tell her ER HU is a BAND instrument, can i?
