listening to The Egg Travels by an orchestra. love the horns. the effect is like, totally amazing. (:

5 periods of DnT lessons turned out to be a trip to the Science Centre all ofa sudden. and they really added loads of new stuff there. yeah. definitely will have to re-visit there some other day.

assembly was horrible. i mean, 1 whole hour talking by the principal is like, really nuts. 20 minutes, i can take it, but an hour? i was like, ASLEEP with my head down. assembly is supposed to end at 2:30pm, but the guest speaker from some charity got to start AT 2:30pm. so silly. and it was obvious to everyone that the guest speaker was there at like, 2 already? cant believe mrs/ms loh just went on and on. like, c'mon?!

the sec 1s came for band today, though about 10 didnt turn up (all from the same class, bet they didnt even knew they had to come), there was still a lot of people. so we let them try the instruments AND know what they had gotten TODAY. so fast. argh. i'm jealous. ha.

i have 6 clarinetists. (:
altogether now: 19 ((:

lets hope at least one from the 10 who didnt turn up will join clarinets. i want 20!

band size now exactly 110 on the dot. i'm really amazed. lets just hope this batch wont be like suhaila's batch and joseph's batch, with the 'curse' of 'having the smaller batch'. lets. HOPE. i rather have 20 sec 1 members who will stay rather than 40 sec 1 members who will only leave one by one and in the end, 10 plus left by the end of the year.

anyway.

i see a lot of potential in this batch. (:
a lot.

o well. still, you never know. hmm.

POA tomorrow. so disheartening. shall do my english instead. there.

oh boy. dad bought more packets of juice home today. and one of them was GRAPEFRUIT JUICE. gosh. its like TOTALLY pure which makes it ten times worse than drinking LEMONADE. so damn sour. argh. plus i added like, 1/2 a cup of WATER in, and it STILL tastes the same. great.

oh wow. its like so dark already. and so late at night. hmm. dad just came in and told me he's bringing us to Olando (how is it spelled?) in america end of this year. and i'm like. "i dont want to go, can save my part of the money buy new professional violin for me?"

oh. at least he said ok. (:

i really want a handmade professional one straight from Gremacy (Katong) with a good fingerboard which can enable me to do vibrato better than before.
i badly need that high distinction for gr 7, 8 and diploma cert.
and i will get it. ((:

motivation! ;D

and in case you dont know, my teacher's professional one already cost 10K.

hmm.
