ms ng went "rebecca! dont sleep!" during music perception class today. opps. x)

mr chen so nearly switched my seat today cause he didnt want ben and bingquan to sit together. lol. and i almost had to be the next victim. lol. alright, i'm kidding. but now when i see bingquan, i cant stop laughing. ah. sorry ;D

i got a 4/15 for the setwork thing. omg. haha. the class average is 7, so i was like, blurred. as quoted by samantha, "but the acs boys got 1/15!" heh. mean.

happy happy happy. (: just spent ONE WHOLE HOUR practicing my Eb clarinet for Alla Turca, the solo part. competition in only last than 3 weeks time, so when everyone is working hard, i should improve my solo more, right?! and YAY, i can finally ge the whole thing one. it might not be perfect yet, but i'll continue jia-you-ing! ((:

anyway, today my neighbours' kids entered the same lift as me and i didnt even know. or rather, i couldnt recognize them. and it was then i remembered, that when they moved in about 6 years ago (when i was in p5), i promised myself that i would make friends with them and play with them often.

however, its all talk, no action.

and so i waited. and waited. and waited.

for what?

apparantly, i was hoping they would make the first move.
then something strucked me, and i realised that all this while, i'm a 'waiting' person. oh gosh. that was like, THE THING. its not that waiting is wrong, but while i was waiting, i also was not doing anything. that was the problem.

when i was in p3, my sunday school teacher taught us,

" if you want a tamagotchi (some game) very very very much, what should you do? "
and all of us, being the holy little innocent souls we were, replied,

" pray to God. "

but she said,

" no, you cannot only pray to God. You must work for it. When you work for something, God will see you working hard and know that you actually tried. "

so i was thinking to myself, how come some neighbourhood school pupils can produce up to 10 A1s students?

they worked for it, they made the move.

put this neighbourhood kid with an RI guy, put them through the o levels, both will still get A1. whats the competition?
