alright. about camp.brief outlook.
1st day -
the usuals. fall in, bag check. and blah blah. games 1 was alright. most groups didnt get to finish all the stations though, yeah. what a pity. had a lot of sectionals and stuff like that. freaky friday was good, i might want to rent or borrow it. and i'm really tired. plus i had ensemble practice till 2am in the morning. kill me.
2nd day -
macritchie for hike. my legs probably hurt but we just kept walking through the forest then by the borders on the wooden planks. hougang band was there too. rest time. night game explanations. more sectionals. bbq was on. rather windy night. fire just kept going out. and the night game. i think more people got tortured than the message which went around. LOL. ensemble practice till 1am plus.
3rd day -
even more ensemble practice. more sectionals. cant wait for the competition to finish. lol. was supposed to play games during drills but yeah, time got eaten up from the drills and all the pumpings they got from the alumni who took them. hmm, more than the usual number of people fell sick. esther said the sec 1s were weak. yeah, mainly cause its their first band camp. still have to learn more. yep.
overall, i like this camp.and i dont like this.so contradicting i know.
lots of sectionals i think. too many. i must have played the clarinet for at least 10 hours each day. of course, it was mainly due the competition this saturday, but still, zz. maybe those who werent involved should have been given games. but still, i only have 3 excos not involved in ensemble. oh boyyyy.
kexin told me this was the best camp she attended in her life. cause of the skits. lol. i like the skits too kexin (:
oh yes,
when me and siying were bathing way after midnight before patrolling, we were really silly and kept telling each other that "its our last camp so we must bathe till shuang."
LOL.
some of us went over to gangyuan's house. accidentally fell asleep on his sofa while the rest were playing ff2. lol. see how tired i am.
oh. tomorrow's the competition.
