went for alumni practice (but i'm not one, lol) in the morning, after a racket of looking for keys. dots, i know. my very own keys were at the bottle pocket in my bag. hur.proceeded to the competition venue after that. loads of other schools' groups were there already, including cck, bedok north, and a couple more. so yeah, all of just simply just set up and tune and you get the idea. noticed some other schools' groups went all the way out to under the sun to tune, which i thought was totally ridiculous. tuning under sun then going back to an airconditioned place? oh boy, they'll be flat till siao.
regent saxophonists were 3rd to play. then the brasses were 5th i think. clarinet octet (ours) was 7th to play. and our double FC group was the 14th. which is like way behind. HAHA.
the microphones were on. and to me, thats like wrong. jiahui sounded so loud. but ah, there were all rounded mics, so maybe i cant say that. yeah.
clarinet octet went up. kexin, liyana, amy, jennifer, yokelian were FREEZING to death. liyana was shivering can. oh well. but we still played ok. mr lim said it was 'ok'. lol.
ran to change for mine and siying's next performing group. and we missed our regent's percussion ensemble! ):
our turn again. double fc. so embarrassed when they announced our group cause everyone was like "cck winds" or "holy innocents brass ensemble" or "regent brass" and stuff like that. :D
and ours is DOUBLE FC.
the emcee (wilson ong) thought it was a footclub we were named after. oh boy.
anyway,
think we did pretty well. yeah.
results results. i screamed A LOT.
PARANOID.
DOUBLE FC GOT THIRD PRIZE. (:

5th: regent brass ensemble

so unexpected. jordan was like "cannot make it, cannot make it". HUR.
4th: bedok north saxophonists

eh, our 'friend' band what. in fact, we screamed everytime bedok north went up to perform. LOL.
3rd: DOUBLE FC!
-SCREAM LIKE SIAO-
yes. esther was like lying down on the chair, siying and yaqing wanted to leave already, all of us thought we surely cannot get prize already. and they just 'double fc'. :DDD
mr lim 'scolded' us. say what, never take prize before is it. lol.
i got more excited about that than when it was SYF.
2nd: regent percussion ensemble

that one is like damn unexpected cause stephanie was crying before thinking she screwed up, which she didnt. err. YAY. GOOD JOB! :D

esther owes us a treat cause she said we surely wont win. and teachers cannot chase us out of school after band pract already. haha. we'll take our time to pack up. LOL.
ended really late. couldnt catch anderson's concert. ):
ate with mie mie and the rest at lot 1. really late, 7pm. junice and karena are really, really, really, really, crappy. oh boy. they can make me laugh until, i dont know. so nice of them to sit the bus with me and walk with me to my block. LOL. i didnt make them :D
going for bbq later at night. bye
