ok.i didnt go to band.
for like the first time in my life!
and it was not on purpose la.
i wanted to go for church in the afternoon!
haha.
so yeah, in the morning was my fault,
didnt wake up in time for band at sandy's hse.
sad. oh well. :D
mr lim smsed me like, 2 mins before sermon.
something about me breaking my promise and missing a impt rehearsal and that he might take me off opus.
first reaction, cry a bit.
laypeng was beside me, she quickly wrote me an encouraging note. (:
so when the video came on and i saw my face, ppl prob will think i'm crying because i'm so touched!
HAHA.
but anyway.
after like 10 mins, i was like, dunno what to do.
then 15 mins passed. and i made my decision.
if mr lim wants me to leave Opus,
i will leave Opus.
he probably wants me in band, as a band major.
and i dont want to be there, as a christian.
so how?
make life easier for both of us.
prayed to God, i told God to let mr lim let me stay.
BUT.
if mr lim wants me to leave, i will leave.
no regrets.
i stood firm with God, i knew what i was doing.
even if he starts a tale on how a certain regent band major missed band practice because of church and something, it wouldnt matter anymore.
yes, it used to matter to me a lot.
yeah, band major must be VERY important, MUST be there.
but no, it wouldnt matter anymore.
not anymore.
i have God.
what does he have?
oh, erm, mr lim has nothing against ppl who have religion and anything.
maybe he's too ON on band, so cant blame him.
he's a conducter what. haha.
but for now, i'm in no right to criticize or speak bad about him.
he claims i have broken a promise.
i'm going to find out whats the promise he claims i have promised him.
if he thinks that i should be sorry cause i wasnt there in the morning,
then,
YES. i am sorry. i will apologize to him.
but if its because i went to church instead,
then,
NO. i am not sorry. i told him i was going to church already. he said OKAY. i owe him nothing. most importantly, he owes me nothing.
even if i do, i owe the band, i owe my section, not mr lim.
lets just see what happens on monday.
no use whining or anything right,
so let's continue being cheerful and happy for God instead :D
